EYES | DOUBLE EYE NON-INCISION

NON-INCISIONAL

METHOD

The surgical procedure known as Double eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is a cosmetic surgery where the skin surrounding the eye is altered. The purpose for the procedure is to craft an upper eyelid that has a crease, which is known as a "double eyelid". This is brought about from an eyelid that naturally does not possess a crease, with this state being known as "single eyelid" or "monolid".

Different people are born with widely different anatomy, eye shape, and bone structure. Due to this, complimentary consultations are offered for patients to meet with Dr. K. Charles Kim. During their consultation, each patient can explain in detail the changes they desire to see in the appearance of their eyes. Dr. Kim examines each patient with extreme care, exploring and explaining all the options that are available to help achieve a patient's goals. After the initial examination, Dr. Kim can pinpoint which of the three methods of Blepharoplasty is best for that patient.

The Non-Incisional Method

The non-incisional method is utilized to create a natural crease without needing any incision. It makes three or four tiny slits the size of around 1 to 2 mm on the upper eyelid. It then connects the levator muscle, or tarsus, to the skin, creating a crease utilizing non-absorbable thread. This particular method is perfect for patients who are seeking out a reversible treatment.

Non-Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery may benefit:

- Those who have thin eyelids that have minimal droopiness or fat.
- Those who are seeking a fast recovery.
- Those who are seeking results that are natural-looking.
